When learning plum blossom, we have fun trying crazy strokes for the branches, thinking of the brush as a carving tool so the wood has strength. No limp noodles accepted!
As you can see, we had a good time, enhanced by wine and snacks brought by the participants! |
Virginia,
I just wanted to thank you for such a great opportunity. I had looked forward to it, but had no expectations except fun, and it turned into so much more. The painting was so exciting and having any measure of success beyond non at all was such a bonus. You're so very patient and encouraging, it's no wonder we all had some little thing to brag about at home. Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon.

Dear Virginia,
I can't tell you what a happy day we all had with you yesterday. I got an email from Pat saying she went right home and ordered all the supplies she and Jerry needed to keep going!! So the ripples on the pond around your kind teaching person have expanded a little farther.
I know I've said this numerous times but you really are a superb teacher in the deepest sense of the word. Your expertise and reassurance and gentle guidance to quivering students make for a serene, positive, happy learning world.
At any rate, must go to bed but didn't want any more time to pass before thanking you so much for all you shared with and gave us yesterday.
Love, Sarah
