Below are three views of a rectory office

This is the view as you enter the reception area of St Patrick's Church office. The workstation is tucked under the staircase.

The challenge was to create an efficient workspace while maintaining the style of the 19th century home the rectory occupies. You can see this style evidenced in the details of the mantle on the right and the newel post on the left.


 
 
 

This is the work side of the desk you saw above. 
There are pencil drawers above, general storage drawers below them and file drawers at the bottom.
The desktop is plastic laminate.


 
 
 

Here is the typing and computer station. The typewriter and keyboard slide out at the proper work heights. The cpu is in a locked cabinet on the right.
The monitor is next to the scanner and the printer is on a shelf above that.
There are file drawers and a storage section under the typewriter.
