A PUBLISHED AUTHOR

In 2019 Walter Foster Publishing, an imprint of The Quarto Group, invited Virginia to create a fourteen chapter book on how to paint in Asian brush technique, called Sumi-e Painting: Master the Meditative Art of Japanese Brush Painting. Her illustrated instructional book is available globally in several languages and has received many reviews and plaudits.

The Center for Peace Studies & Violence Prevention is on the site of the shootings that took place in 2007. One of the goals of the gallery is to transmute these tragic energies with the beauty of art.
